Anthroposophical Society in the Western Cape
We are living in an extraordinary new reality with threats and possibilities undreamed of a couple of generations back. Do we have the inner resources and insights to really meet this new reality? Are we meeting this quantum leap into a new world with an equal leap of inner strength, of inner stability and new thinking?
All of us are called to develop new ways of seeing, new ways of thinking and new ways of being active.
The Anthroposophical Society in the Western Cape strives to address this call. Activities to do this include study groups, lectures, social and artistic activities, workshops, conferences, and festivals. We have a well stocked library and Bookshop.
In 1924 Rudolf Steiner founded the General Anthroposophical Society, based in Dornach in Switzerland, of which the Anthroposophical Society in the Western Cape (ASWC) is but one of many affiliated organisations. The ASWC is also affiliated to the Anthroposophical Society in South Africa (ASSA).
